This patch has not been committed yet, but there is still an active developper
who did a big commit a month ago. You could post the patch and/or the bug
number to xfc-dev at xfce.org.

Today I downloaded the required packages from SVN snapshot 27044 (libxfce4mcs,
libxfce4util, libxfcegui4, xfce-mcs-manager, xfce-mcs-plugins), compiled and
tested the code. It works in my setup (10 XInput devices), the patch has been
applied by oliver and it works for me. Therefore I now set the bug to
resolved.

Joachim:
Does this problem still exist?
If not, can you reproduce it with 4.4.2?
I recall seeing the "Button Label" thing before, and while I don't recall for
certain, it seems like that was a transient issue from a gtk upgrade.
Anyway, if you can't reproduce it now, and since there have been no other
reports, I'd lean towards Invalid on this one.

Robby,
If there have been no other reports in the last 2 years, probably right to file
this as invalid. I haven't used Xfce since then, I imagine I would have trouble

I don't know if it's related at all, but scim and gtk apps don't seem to get
along well. I don't know if gtk or scim is at fault (or maybe some combination
of the two) though. Here's some related (or not) stuff to consider:

This is thunar-volman component, and at least on 0.2.0 (and previous) you have
a interface to set those options. See in menu / settings / removable drives and
media.
Cheers,
