Hi Leandro, Don't be afraid to modify the wiki, I don't have the time, but I will keep a note about that. Basically: if you don't know how to commit your changes, post your translations on this mailing-list, and some of us with access commit them once a week or two. If you don't know how to translate, well, it is simple, you checkout the applications you want to translate and edit the po file. The po files are in the source tree at po/. If your locale isn't in that directory, you have to modify the LINGUAS file and run msginit. It is a good practice to join several translations inside a tarball with a svn diff. There is a note on the wiki, yes :), about how to use svn, but it lacks info about how to run a diff and make a tarball, AFAICT. > Bye, > Leandro Regueiro Cheers Mike From mmassonnet at gmail.com Mon Jun 2 21:57:43 2008 From: mmassonnet at gmail.com (Mike Massonnet) Date: Mon, 2 Jun 2008 21:57:43 +0200 Subject: [Xfce-i18n] About non-po translatable modules In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: <20080602195743.GC2967@failure.del> Hi Leandro, Not sure if I'm right here, but the svn version doesn't have 'non-po translatable' modules anymore. Yes I checked out the whole goodies directory, but I found the part who is interesting for translators: the modules directory. Now I have a doubt, how to do the patches. I tried it, but from the root directory of the local copy it doesn't go, it only goes if enter on every directory I changed, so I will have twenty or thirty patches and not only a couple as the other translators do... I will see in the wiki if there is something about that.
