Nice :-) We have a website[0] with several howtos. As mentionned there, it is recommended to translate the stable version first, then we can merge these translation to trunk. After that you can keep up to date with trunk, if you have the time, which is the version under development and finally branched as the new stable version, where the strings are often object to changes. To get quickly started, install the svn tools (subversion package) and download the xdt-i18n script. See the "How to use SVN" wiki page[1] for the download link and the usage of the script. If you have further questions, don't hesitate. Finally attach us the svn diff output on this m-l so someone can commit it. > Sincerely, > Kristjan Siimson Thanks for your on-coming contribution. As it is besides Refresh, Properties and Move, I find it OK to be there in short. And a click on it should drop the confusion asap. And also for estatic reasons, since it is quiet a long string once translated. The only other place where an About item appears is when you right click the panel itself (and not a plugin), IIRC it says something like "About the panel", just like you did. Thanks. Remarks: - Thunar has missing keyboard accelerator marks - An error, I fixed it by marking the string as fuzzy: ./zh_CN.po:522: number of format specifications in 'msgid' and 'msgstr' does not match Thanks for your work, mike From mmassonnet at gmail.com Sun Mar 30 19:32:23 2008 From: mmassonnet at gmail.com (Mike Massonnet) Date: Sun, 30 Mar 2008 19:32:23 +0200 Subject: [Xfce-i18n] Done Re: Chinese translation patches In-Reply-To: <20080320080035.GA5484@sunwa> References: <20080320080035.GA5484@sunwa> Message-ID: <20080330173223.GC2195@failure.del> On Thu, Mar 20, 2008 at 04:00:35PM +0800, Vern Sun wrote: > The attachment include 8 patches for Simplified Chinese translation: > > - xfce4-mailwatch-plugin-1.0.1.patch > - xfce4-mcs-plugins-4.4.2.patch > - xfce4-mount-plugin-0.5.1.patch > - xfce4-netload-plugin-0.4.patch > - xfce4-session-4.4.2.patch > - xfce4-terminal-0.2.8.patch > - xfce-mcs-manager-4.4.2.patch > - xfdesktop4-4.4.2.patch Remarks: - xfce4-mount-plugin: a translation already exists in trunk, better merge your strings into the existing file - xfdesktop: I didn't apply menu.xml.zh_CN because it already exists and that it differs with the original menu.xml - terminal and thunar: there are no Xfce 4.4 branches, therefore I couldn't apply against the version you translated I merged the commits inside the 4.4 branches back to trunk. Remarks: - xfdesktop: 13 strings have been tagged as fuzzy Thanks for your work, mike PS: meh, this answer belongs to your other mail, vice-versa From mmassonnet at gmail.com Sun Mar 30 19:38:23 2008 From: mmassonnet at gmail.com (Mike Massonnet) Date: Sun, 30 Mar 2008 19:38:23 +0200 Subject: [Xfce-i18n] Done Re: Done Re: [xfce-trunk] Catalan translation In-Reply-To: <47E64AD9.4050908@ya.com> References: <47DC1822.8070407@ya.com> <20080318124109.GS3123@failure.del> <47E643A8.2080308@ya.com> <47E64AD9.4050908@ya.com> Message-ID: <20080330173823.GD2195@failure.del> On Sun, Mar 23, 2008 at 01:19:37PM +0100, Carles Mu?oz Gorriz wrote: > Ooops!!!
