Compile RC1 on Ubunutu (pb with libdbus-glib)

Has anyone tried to compile RC1 on the Dapper Dan release ...You can't really tell from synaptic if the required  version of dbus-glib is installed. I'd rather not crash and burn during  the compile and end up with half a installation.

If a upgrade for libdbus (dev?) is required maybe it would be available from the edgy respoistory
Package names would be helpfull folks.

BTW: Using the GUI installer.
